MEET OUR IN HOUSE DESIGNER

A Columbus native, Chandler has traveled the world and has worked in many creative facets of design before landing back in town 15 months ago. Formerly, she designed yacht interiors and studied interior design at Mount Royal University in Canada. She is super excited to continue the legacy and passion for interior design handed down by her father, Jack Collins of Collins & Huff, inc.

Chandler loves how Park Place has created a solution for many local interior designers by offering a design center for designers, decorators, and individuals here in Columbus who need help tapping into their inner creativity. Chandler is inspired by all textiles and collected many hand woven fabrics throughout her travels to Southeast Asia, India, and Latin America. Her favorite designers are Ashley Hicks, Angie Haranowsky, and Eleanor Cummings. Her decor must is hand painted wallpaper, especially Degourney.

The Story of Our Logo

Park Place is named for our location off Weracoba Park in Columbus, Georgia. When the park was first established in 1890 there was a small zoo with monkeys. The monkey is also a popular motif in traditional and chinoiserie interiors, and always adds a creative flair! We have taken the monkey as our mascot in recognition of our location and our city's history.  Our logo was created by the award-winning designer, Holly Hollon.  See more of her beautiful designs, calligraphy, and illustrations at hollyhollon.com.
