The Kerala Block Print Table Cloths bring a modern take on traditional handcraft into your home. Block printing is done entirely by hand and is a traditional printing process that has been perfected by artisans over many generations. It all begins with carving the designs into wooden blocks, a process that is itself an art form. From there, the blocks are dipped in dye and meticulously stamped onto fabric to create beautiful repeat patterns. Modern processes are cheaper, faster, and more consistent but hand printed items have charm which mass production cannot reproduce. Perfect for special occasions but deserved of everyday use.
